For the past 5 years, Backyard Grill has provided our customers with authentic homemade meals with a wide range of grilled foods and salad options.
The restaurant industry has become more quality driven. That’s exciting to me. Consumers are more aware now than ever before about the food they eat, and they definitely appreciate healthy and fresh options.
We take great pride in our restaurant and the food we serve. From a single lunch or dinner order to a catered event, our goal remains the same. We want our customers to have a great experience every single time. We are extremely thankful to the community for their support. From the very beginning, we’ve worked hard to gain their loyalty, and we don’t take it for granted.

I grew up in the family business, watching my dad run his restaurant. From the time I was in high school at
Glenbrook North, I started working with my father doing everything from bussing tables, washing dishes, and cleaning the restaurant to handling the cash register and ordering supplies. I was fortunate to gain experience from the ground up and gain a deep understanding of what makes a restaurant successful. Everything I learned went into the creation of Backyard Grill from the design of the restaurant to our menu offerings.
We’ve recently expanded our catering options and family meals, and I expect to keep doing so. I’d like to add more automation and expanding our on-line service for our customers, and possibly, expand the size of our restaurant at some point down the road.
